A bass set consists of 6 full-length drums ( 55-gallon) and is a backline or background instrument. Using the full length of the steel drum allows for full acoustic projection of the lower range – G2 to D4. The MITTCO standard Bass Set comes with 6 pans and 1 pair of bass pan sticks.
- This Bass instrument comes standard with 6 pans, sets of 7 or 9 bass drums are available upon request (addition of more bass pans allows more notes and a fuller bass section)
- The bass set is versatile on its own or can be used to compliment all the bass instruments of a classical orchestra with its unique, deep bass tone
