During the tour visitors are given the opportunity to witness up close the step by step process of converting a steel drum into a steelpan instrument. They get to chat with our artisans, ask questions, and obtain a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process while learning about the evolution of steelpan instruments. The tour also allows visitors to play the instrument as we take you on an intimate journey from manufacturing the instrument all the way to its performance.

On the tour folks will:

  • Witness the step by step process of converting a steel drum into a steelpan instrument
  • Chat with our artisans, ask questions and obtain a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process
  • Get a chance to play the instrument through a guided session
  • Educated on the evolution of the steelpan
